Privacy Policy

1. Overview

GamertagGenerator.tech ("we", "our", or "the site") is a free AI-powered gamertag generator. We do not require registration, do not sell products, and do not build user profiles. This policy explains the limited data we process in order to provide the service.

2. Data We Collect

  • IP address — collected automatically on each generation request. Used solely to enforce the daily rate limit (20 generations per IP per day). This counter is stored in Vercel KV with a 24-hour TTL and is never linked to any personal identity.
  • Keywords input — any text you enter in the keywords field is sent to the OpenAI API to generate gamertags. We do not store, log, or retain your keywords after the API response is returned.
  • Standard server logs — Vercel's hosting infrastructure records standard HTTP access logs (URL path, response code, timestamp). These are retained per Vercel's default policy and are not accessible to us in individually identifiable form.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

  • Account information, email addresses, or passwords
  • Payment or billing information
  • Device fingerprints or persistent tracking identifiers
  • The gamertags generated for you
  • Any information about which names you copy or use

4. Third-Party Services

  • OpenAI API — keywords you enter are transmitted to OpenAI to generate name suggestions. OpenAI's data handling is governed by the OpenAI Privacy Policy.
  • Vercel — the site is hosted on Vercel, which processes request data as part of its infrastructure. See the Vercel Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies

We do not set any first-party cookies. Vercel may set technical cookies required for infrastructure operation. We do not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising.

6. Your Rights

Because we do not maintain accounts or persistent user records, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete on request. If you have questions about data associated with your IP address, contact us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the service or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. Continued use of the site after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
